Pro­vi­sion of the web­site and cre­ation of log files

When you access our website, the provider of the site automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us. These are:

Akismet is a service that protects the website against spam messages as comments under blog posts, content pages and other content types. Akismet analyses the input data of the website user as well as technical information such as IP address, country of residence, browser, screen resolution and related information in order to verify whether a comment is to be classified as spam. This information is transmitted to the USA, where the service’s servers are located, for automatic verification. The data is then processed, shared and deleted in accordance with Automattic Inc.’s privacy notice. Google re­CAPTCHA pri­vacy policy

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place. Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam.

Mat­omo pri­vacy policy

Matomo, formerly Piwik, is an open source web application for web analytics. It is the successor project to the now discontinued phpMyVisites project and an alternative to Google Analytics. The Matomo used is hosted locally by the provider cubetech in Bern, Switzerland. Matomo is used on this website to obtain statistical analyses of the performance of individual pages with the aim of optimising the user experience. The following data is processed: the type and version of browser you use, the operating system you use, your country of origin, the date and time of the server enquiry, the number of visits, the time you spend on the website and the external links you click on. The user’s IP address is anonymised before it is saved. Matomo uses cookies, which are stored on the user’s computer and enable us to analyse the use of our online offering by users. Pseudonymised user profiles can be created from the processed data. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is only stored on our server and is not passed on to third parties.

Map­box pri­vacy policy

Right to eras­ure

You can request the erasure of personal data concerning you. The data will be erased if the relevant requirements are met.

Right to re­stric­tion of pro­cessing
