Song excerpts are played to a representative sample audience either at home via the phone or Internet (Sound Check) or during an auditorium test in a listening room with appropriate equipment.

Research results on:

  • Familiarity of the song
  • Acceptance (rating)
  • Burn, burnout ("Should the song be played more often or less often on the radio?")
  • Switching habits ("Would you switch to another station if this song came on?").
  • Association of a song with a given station ("On which station would you expect to hear this song?")
