The Mediapulse Corporation commissions a specialist media committee to independently supervise the fulfilment of the research mandates by the institutions charged with performing them.

The MWK consisted on 31 December 2011 of three persons:

• Prof. Dr. Heinz Bonfadelli, Universität Zürich, chairman
• Dr. Walter Hättenschwiler, Universität Zürich
• Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Schenk, Universität Stuttgart/Hohenheim
